Samuel Ruiz
Pintor Colombiano
Born in Argentina in the province of Buenos Aires, “San José de los lobos”, in 1957. Including horses was part of his roots. He decided that being an artist was his calling after taking part in studying with several known artists. He studied graphic art with well known artists of the time. He decided that the theme of horses, man in his environment. Having studied graphic art before starting to paint gave his work a distinctive style. He is a prolific artist working constantly between his studio in Bogota and workshop in Puerto Rico. His works are exhibited around the world.
